Environmental responsibility has always been a primary focus for Manupackaging, and with increasing demand for more sustainable packaging use we heavily invest in the ongoing research and development behind our Manunature® stretch films - environmentally sustainable and 100% recyclable alternatives designed to reduce the footprint of our customers and our products.
With the implementation of Plastic Packaging Tax in the UK back in April 2022, Manunature® RR is now available as an alternative to a wide number of our standard films; containing at least 30% PCR, their use is exempt from the tax.
Manunature® BB introduces bio-LLDPE to our range; reducing dependency on fossil fuel resources by 50% thanks to being sustainably produced with resin extracted from wood industry byproducts, and ISCC accredited on the basis of a mass-balance concept.
We are also proud to have launched Manunature® BD - our fully biodegradable stretch film that breaks down completely into water, carbon dioxide and biomass within 2 years, leaving no microplastics and is therefore compliant with BSI PAS 9017:2020 regulations.
