EXPANDING TO MEET STRETCHING SUSTAINABLE DEMANDS

With the current focus on reducing plastic consumption and the upcoming UK Plastic Tax due in April 2022, Manupackaging are dedicated to helping their customers reduce the financial impact of the incoming tax through innovative new products.

In November, Manupackaging UK once again reinforced its commitment to the sustainable future of stretch film by investing in and recently welcoming the installation of new machinery on-site in Corsham with the purpose of expanding production of our Pre-Lite filmsin response to increased demand. The new high-speed machinery is expected to increase our Pre-Lite production capacity by 17%, helping us produce a full range of Pre-Lite films between 5-10 micron think, focusing on the new Pre-Lite 5 micron which has recently launched.

Pre-Lite 5 offers a 70% reduction in consumption when compared to traditional 17 micron films, while maintaining the same high levels of containment & puncture resistance due to being made from Manupackaging’s flagship film Manustar; by using Manustar this allows us to stretch the film further without compromising on the quality of the final product.
